About Easy and Cheap way to get from LAX to Anaheim and from our Anaheim To Universal Studios

Easy and Cheap way to get from LAX to Anaheim and from our Anaheim To Universal Studios?
I will be traveling to LA in July, and wanted to know, what is the cheapest way to get to Anaheim (our hotel is right along S. Harbour blvd) from LAX, and What is the best way to get to Universal Studios from our Hotel, and back. We are not that high on money, so we want to keep the costs down as much as possible, and also we will not be able to rent a car.

from lax you can use transit take the lax G shuttle bus to the green Line station (pay $1.25) take the green line to the last stop (Norwalk) and then board line 460 (and pay another $1.25) the 460 ends at Disneyland on harbor) now to get to universal again board the 460 (pay about $2.25 take the 460 to 7th/Figueroa then go to 7th/metro (subway) take the Red line (pay $1.25) (or get day pass from the 460 driver) for $5.00 take the red line to Universal city then cross lakersherim take the free shuttle up the hill

omg. my friend is easy and cheap. and she lives like 15 mins. from Universal Studios. oh. dont go there. you pay a lot and for an extra $20, dollars (80) you could go to Disneyland. way better they close at Midnight, not a 9 like U.S.

There are hotels that offer shuttles to the major amusement parks, even from several cities away. I've seen them on the freeway but I don't remember which hotels they are. Ask your hotel if they offer it or know of a shuttle service. Possibly you might want to change hotels after you hear their answer. Public transportation in LA is bad, especially going between two counties like that. I wouldn't count on it and it's not exactly as cheap as you may think if a train is involved.

Hate to break it to ya, but public transport in So Cal is a joke.. it really is. You're best off renting a car, believe me. I've lived here all my life, and it'll take you FOREVER without a car.

About What's the easiest way of getting from Anaheim to Las Vegas

What's the easiest way of getting from Anaheim to Las Vegas?
will be traveling to the USA in July and need to know the easiest, quickest and cheapest way of getting from Anaheim (Disneyland), specifically the Super 8 motel to Las Vegas. We were thinking the bus, if so any recommendations on bus companies?

fly there for $60

You might want to check this luxury bus service. A shuttle will pick you up at your hotel and take you the bus terminal and then on to Las Vegas to either Harrahs or Flamingo which is right next to each other but in the middle of the strip. They provide a hot towel, pillows, blankets and snacks for the trip. They also provide a movie for your enjoyment. Like being on a plane. Cost is $70. Not the cheapest but it is the fastest and most comfortable way to go. If you figure how much a taxi would be to the airport and the time is takes and the security at the airport. Also add in the cost of checking in your luggage it really is the cheapest and fastest way to go. Read the reviews on the page and see what I mean. Greyhound would be cheaper but you still have to pay for a taxi to the bus terminal and it drops you off downtown Las Vegas so you would have to get a taxi to the strip from there. This really is a great deal and you don't have to deal with all kind of stops along the way to pick up and drop off passengers.

Greyhound. http://vacation-in-vegas.com

air line is the most efficieny way. bus is next rent a car and that is expensive but most conveniet.
5 :
The bus works but there are great airline deals from Southwest, Allegiant, Jet Blue.

LVgeno has the best idea. I used the service and loved it. So easy and comfortable. It was pleasant. I didn't have to use the airport with all the hassle plus they picked me up at my hotel and they dropped me off at Harrahs which I happen to be staying. The only thing better would be if they put in the bullet train they had been talking about. Until then this is the way for me. I found it on this site under booking tours.
7 :
Easiest - rent a car. Quickest - fly to McCarran airport. Cheapest, probably the bus, but it's really slow. Which Super 8 did you get? I sing karaoke at Las Vegas' Ellis Island casino, which is the largest one in the USA. If this is the one, it's a full block off the strip, so if you wanted to walk you could.

driving is not bad as you will have a car anyway, but if you don't want to fly from Anahiem to Las Vegas.

The quickest way would be to fly. You could probably find some cheaper flights from John Wayne airport - Santa Ana ( I believe the airport code for that is SNA) to SFO. It depends what kind of time you have. You could drive, but it would be about a 6 hour drive or so and you would have to deal with LA traffic. If you are not familar with LA traffic, it's BEYOND HORRIBLE! You could also look at flights into Oakland. Sometimes they are a bit cheaper, and they have a BART (sort of like a subway) that takes you right into SF.
2 :
By foot along the coast.

Every Year we drive from San Francisco to Disneyland and we take I-5 is the fastest and easiest if you are driving which yes it is longer then flying but it is nice to be able to spend time with the family at a slower pace. Flying is faster so if that is what you are looking to do I would go Orange County/SNA to SFO it is closer to Disneyland then LAX and usually cheaper in the long run. I hope this helps you !

You can actually look at a list of hotels based on their distance from the Hyatt Regency: http://www.resideo.com/us/california/gardengrove/59559867.hotel Closest is Marriott Suites Anaheim (.01 miles), with a handful of others within 2 blocks. You can read more about each hotel, view pics & check availability and book online right from that link. Hope that helps...good luck!

About Best way to get to Huntington Beach from Anaheim if you don't have a vehicle.

Best way to get to Huntington Beach from Anaheim if you don't have a vehicle.?
I'm traveling to Anaheim, CA this weekend for a conference and want to go to a beach. I've read that Huntington Beach is the best and closest beach to go to. I won't have a rental car and am trying to find the best and least expensive way to get to the beach. If a cab is the best option, I'm trying to get an approximate idea of how much it would cost me. Thanks!!
