Easy and Cheap way to get from LAX to Anaheim and from our Anaheim To Universal Studios?
I will be traveling to LA in July, and wanted to know, what is the cheapest way to get to Anaheim (our hotel is right along S. Harbour blvd) from LAX, and What is the best way to get to Universal Studios from our Hotel, and back. We are not that high on money, so we want to keep the costs down as much as possible, and also we will not be able to rent a car.

from lax you can use transit take the lax G shuttle bus to the green Line station (pay $1.25) take the green line to the last stop (Norwalk) and then board line 460 (and pay another $1.25) the 460 ends at Disneyland on harbor) now to get to universal again board the 460 (pay about $2.25 take the 460 to 7th/Figueroa then go to 7th/metro (subway) take the Red line (pay $1.25) (or get day pass from the 460 driver) for $5.00 take the red line to Universal city then cross lakersherim take the free shuttle up the hill

omg. my friend is easy and cheap. and she lives like 15 mins. from Universal Studios. oh. dont go there. you pay a lot and for an extra $20, dollars (80) you could go to Disneyland. way better they close at Midnight, not a 9 like U.S.

There are hotels that offer shuttles to the major amusement parks, even from several cities away. I've seen them on the freeway but I don't remember which hotels they are. Ask your hotel if they offer it or know of a shuttle service. Possibly you might want to change hotels after you hear their answer. Public transportation in LA is bad, especially going between two counties like that. I wouldn't count on it and it's not exactly as cheap as you may think if a train is involved.

Hate to break it to ya, but public transport in So Cal is a joke.. it really is. You're best off renting a car, believe me. I've lived here all my life, and it'll take you FOREVER without a car.
